Spirit Led Justice Alliance *Action Alert* 2/7/19

We are so blessed in Oregon to have so many opportunities to lobby our legislators in Salem.

While we heartily encourage all people of faith to join us on March 4 for Interfaith Advocacy Day, if you are filled with fervor and ready to advocate, we also encourage you to add a second or third lobby day to your schedule.

Together we can build the world we dream!

Join us at our next Interfaith Service on Tuesday, February 19 at 7:00 pm at Grant Park Church, 2728 NE 34th. There is ample parking in the lot across the street, a ramp to the front door (there are two front doors, please use the one on the right) and join us for renewing, restorative prayer.

Lobby and Advocate for Advancing Civil Rights in Oregon!

Join the ACLU in Salem on Presidents Day – Monday, February 18 – to make your voices heard during our 2019 Lobby Day! ACLU staff, members, and supporters from throughout Oregon will convene at the Capitol Building to meet with their state legislators to advance immigrant rights, juvenile justice reform, district attorney accountability, privacy in technology, and other important civil rights and civil liberties issues at stake during this legislative session!

Let us know if you’d like help getting there – we’re chartering buses with stops in Portland, Tigard, and Eugene, and connecting carpoolers – and let us know if you have any accessibility or allergy concerns. Help the ACLU advance a pro-civil rights and pro-civil liberties agenda at a time where we need it most!

Raise a Moral Voice in Support of LGBTQ Oregonians!

for our 2019 Lobby Day on Tuesday, March 5 in Salem! This full-day action is an opportunity to speak directly with state lawmakers and advocate for LGBTQ justice.

Our central focus this year is to pass Adi’s Act, a law that would provide much needed resources to schools across Oregon to prevent youth suicide. In addition, we will continue advocating for Paid Family Medical Leave, Revenue Reform, Drivers Cards for Undocumented Oregonians, and much more.

Carpools, child care, and leadership opportunities are all available!
